Conditions Treated

Our Personalized Care Begins With You

Treating gynecologic cancer involves some big life choices. Our team is here to guide and support you in this process, including planning for future goals.

Fertility Preservation

Thanks to advanced technology and screening, we can now diagnose cancer earlier and treat it more successfully. With increased survival rates, those diagnosed with gynecologic cancer may want to preserve their fertility.

If you’re a younger patient undergoing cancer treatment and want to preserve your options for building a family in the future, Valley’s Fertility Preservation program can help. Our fertility and cancer teams work together to schedule fertility preservation alongside your cancer treatment.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Cancer Surgery

Our gynecologic oncologists at Valley have extensive experience performing robotic surgery using the da Vinci® Surgical System.

We offer robotic surgery as a treatment option for some gynecologic cancers, and you and your doctor will discuss if it’s right for you.

As a minimally invasive alternative to complex open surgeries, this technique allows surgeons to operate through the most minor incisions, offering greater precision that isn’t possible with human hands.

Robotic surgery has significant benefits. Typically, patients can experience:

  • Less pain
  • Fewer complications
  • Faster return to normal activities
