Our program's official name in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) is the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Valley Health Program (ERAS # 1553314003).
Applications will be accepted for the 2027-2028 academic year starting in July 2026. Interview will take place virtually in September and October 2026.
Our program will accept 2 fellows per year.
Our program is participating in ERAS signaling. Each Hematology/Oncology applicant is allotted 5 “Gold” and 15 “Silver” signals.
We do not set minimum score requirements and we evaluate each application individually; however, passage of USMLE Steps and/or COMLEX Levels on the first attempt is preferred.
You will be contacted if you are selected for an interview.
Application Checklist
All application materials are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS); the following materials are required:
- Completed ERAS application
- Current CV
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcript
- Dean's Letter (MSPE) from medical school
- Test scores (USMLE and/or COMLEX).
- At least three letters of recommendation and one letter must be provided by your Residency Program Director
- Applicants from non-USA medical schools must provide an ECFMG Certificate
- The program accepts J1 visas
