Our Pledge

The Valley Hospital Auxiliary pledges to raise $1.6 million to support and enhance patient care and comfort in the treatment of cancer, pregnancy-induced hypertension and the Butterflies program for critically ill children.

The pledge covers four vital Valley Health System programs:

  • Cool cap therapy for cancer patients reduces the likelihood of hair loss during chemotherapy

  • Boutique for integrative healing at the Luckow Pavilion provides patients with services, wellness products, support and education as they undergo and/or recover from cancer treatment

  • Pregnancy-induced Hypertension program endeavors to save the lives of pregnant and post-partum mothers with hypertensive disorders in pregnancy

  • Butterflies endowment enhances palliative and hospice care to children with life-threatening conditions and their families
