On June 18, 2026, nearly 100 Auxiliary members gathered at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes for VHA’s Annual Meeting and Luncheon.
The morning began with welcome cocktails and farm-to-table appetizers, followed by a meeting at noon. Opening remarks were delivered by Joe Lorino, Vice President of Facilities at Valley Health System. VHA President Donna Singer then thanked everyone for helping VHA accomplish so much this past year. As a result of members’ efforts, VHA was able to donate $400,000 to The Valley Hospital Foundation to benefit their pledge to raise $1.6 million to support and enhance patient care and comfort in the treatment of cancer, pregnancy-induced hypertension and the Butterflies program for critically ill children. This was thanks to the many fundraisers held throughout the year by branches and the Central Board. The meeting portion of the luncheon concluded with the installation of the new 2026-2028 VHA Executive Board.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious three-course lunch and a special presentation by guest speaker Cenia Paredes, celebrity stylist and owner of Cenia New York located in Ridgewood, NJ.
