Get Your Beat Back: Learn about Comprehensive Care for AFib on Mar. 20

The Valley Hospital will host a free community health program, Get Your Beat Back, on Tuesday, March 20 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Ridgewood Library, 125 N. Maple Avenue, Ridgewood.

Atrial fibrillation (AF or AFib) is the most common irregular or abnormal heart rhythm disorder, affecting more than 3 million Americans. Since the heart can weaken when it is unable to pump efficiently, those living with AFib are at an increased risk of stroke, heart failure and other problems.

Fortunately, there are more options available today to treat AFib than ever before. Join Valley electrophysiologist Dan L. Musat, M.D. to learn about the latest advances in care for patients with Afib to both manage the condition and improve one’s overall quality of life.

Dr. Musat is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine and Electrophysiology. He completed his medical education at Carol Davila University of Medicine & Pharmacy. He also completed a residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, New York, NY.

The physicians and specialists at The Snyder Center for Comprehensive Atrial Fibrillation at The Valley Hospital are dedicated to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-directed healthcare that emphasizes the overall well-being of patients with atrial fibrillation. The Synder team works with each patient to develop a plan of care that is right for them and their needs.

Valley’s cardiac program is an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic's Heart & Vascular Institute.
