This year, The Valley Hospital proudly celebrates 75 years of serving our community. Since opening our doors in 1951, we have remained steadfast in our mission to provide exceptional, compassionate care. While healthcare has changed dramatically over the past seven decades, our commitment to the patients and communities we serve has never wavered.

Today, Valley Health System is stronger than ever. Our three campuses work together as one integrated health system, providing patients with seamless access to advanced care close to home. Whether care begins in Paramus, Ridgewood, or Montvale, patients benefit from a coordinated network of physicians, specialists, and caregivers connected through shared commitment to clinical excellence and a forthcoming unified electronic health record.

Each campus plays an important role in delivering care:

  • Valley Health System – Paramus Campus serves as the clinical hub of the health system, anchored by The Valley Hospital, the Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion – home to Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care – and a growing array of outpatient specialty services.
  • Valley Health System – Ridgewood Campus continues its long tradition of serving the community through comprehensive outpatient services, diagnostic testing, specialty care, wellness programs, and innovative ambulatory services.
  • Valley Health System – Montvale Campus expands convenient access to physician specialties, advanced imaging, rehabilitation, and wellness services, bringing high-quality care even closer to where our patients live and work.

Across our health system, we are increasingly organizing care around the needs of our patients – not simply around locations. Our multidisciplinary programs, such as the Spine Center – and our comprehensive cardiovascular and cancer services, bring together experts from multiple specialties to provide coordinated, patient-centered care that is both convenient and highly effective.

Equally important is our commitment to developing the next generation of physicians. Through residency and fellowship programs in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, cardiovascular disease, hospice and palliative care, and hematology/oncology, Valley is preparing skilled, compassionate clinicians to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community.

As we celebrate our past, we remain focused on the future. We will continue to expand access, enhance coordination across our system, invest in leading-edge technology, strengthen our partnerships, and deliver an increasingly seamless patient experience. Our vision is a health system where patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time – supported by connected teams working together to improve health and transform lives.

Seventy-five years ago, our founders envisioned a hospital dedicated to serving the community. Today, that vision has grown into an integrated health system committed to shaping the future of healthcare – providing high-quality care for generations to come.
