The Valley Hospital is now open at 4 Valley Health Plaza in Paramus. (You may need to use 650 Winters Avenue for GPS.) All emergency care is now being provided at this location. Emergency care is no longer available at our Ridgewood campus.
Not all surgical procedures require an overnight hospital stay. Many procedures can be done on an outpatient, or same-day, basis, so patients can return home right after their surgery.
The George R. Jaqua Same Day Services Center, located at the Luckow Pavilion, offers the most advanced in same-day surgery, with six surgical suites. A focus on patients’ comfort and convenience is combined with the most advanced medical and surgical technology available, all supported by a staff of physicians, nurses and other professionals from The Valley Hospital.
Both adult and pediatric patients alike experience first-rate care at the Same Day Services Center. From the moment they arrive, patients are guided by our dedicated and skilled team of nurses and technicians. This team, along with our anesthesiologists and surgeons, provides distinctive care, treatment and customer service – the same qualities associated with Valley for more than 65 years.
Adding to patients’ and family members’ convenience is The Plaza Café, available for coffee, snacks and to-go items, and a retail pharmacy offering prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and gifts.
