Children become ill at all hours of the day and night. That’s why The Valley Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to treat newborns, children, adolescents and young adults.
With separate waiting areas and treatment rooms, the pediatric ED offers patients child-friendly evaluation and emergency treatment in a place that was created just for them.
To meet the needs of our youngest patients, Valley’s pediatric ED includes board-certified pediatricians with expertise in pediatric emergency medicine, as well as registered nurses who have extensive experience in providing emergency care for newborns, children, adolescents and young adults.
Our pediatric ED team also has access to Valley’s own roster of pediatric subspecialists in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, surgery, urology, otolaryngology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and developmental pediatrics, who are available for consultation, if needed.
