Valley Health Pharmacy has earned Specialty Pharmacy accreditation from the URAC.
By achieving URAC Specialty Pharmacy designation, Valley Health Pharmacy has demonstrated a comprehensive commitment to quality care, improved processes, and better patient outcomes.
“It’s necessary for specialty pharmacies to provide a higher level of treatment for patients so desired outcomes are achieved. Valley shows a dedication to patient education and safety through the recognition of quality it received with URAC’s independent accreditation,” said URAC President and CEO Shawn Griffin, M.D. “With URAC accreditation, people know that Valley strives to adhere to industry best practices.”

The Valley Health Pharmacy locations that have received URAC accreditation are Valley Health Pharmacy Prescription Processing Center, Valley Health Pharmacy in Paramus, and Valley Health Pharmacy in Mahwah.
Valley Health Pharmacy’s Specialty Pharmacy Services provides access to specialty medications used to treat a variety of rare and complex health conditions, including cancer, hepatitis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and HIV.

Physicians can send prescriptions directly to the specialty pharmacy (via fax, e-prescribe or by phone). Specialty medications can be delivered directly to the patients’ homes or are available for pick up at Valley Health Pharmacy located in Paramus or Mahwah.
