Valley is aware of the nationwide supply disruption of IV fluid solution due to Hurricane Helene, and wants to reassure the community that steps have been taken to ensure the situation will have no negative impact on our patients and the community.
Patients who are undergoing surgical procedures have the opportunity to participate in The Valley Hospital’s Biorepository program. This protocol involves the freezing and storage of extra tissue not used for diagnosis, blood and other bodily fluids that may be used for future research designed to develop or contribute to generalized knowledge in cancer research.
Valley’s Biorepository is available to all persons diagnosed with cancer, having surgery for excision, and is strongly encouraged.
