As the healthcare provider for the campus health center at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Valley Health System delivers the high-quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care it is known for to students and employees - right on campus.

In addition to on-campus services, this partnership provides students and employees with access to telehealth (virtual) appointments and referrals to other Valley specialists and clinicians in northern New Jersey.

Services Offered

At Ramapo College Health Services, we offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the unique healthcare needs of the RCNJ community.

Our primary care services are designed to address your general healthcare needs, including:

  • Preventive screenings
  • Physicals
  • Concussion clearances
  • Wellness visits
  • Sick visits
  • Management of chronic conditions
  • Immunization records intake and management

Additional care available to you includes:

  • Gynecologic care
  • Sexual health
  • HIV treatment
  • Adult transgender care

Immunizations

If you are full-time undergraduate or a part-time/full-time graduate student who is under the age of 31 at the time of enrollment, you must submit:

  • Proof of two measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccines, with the first dose given on or after your first birthday
    • Alternatively, you may submit titers showing immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella
  • Proof of three doses of the hepatitis B vaccine (not required if you are taking less than 12 credits)
    • Alternatively, you may submit a titer indicating immunity
  • Proof of a meningitis ACWY vaccine given at age 16 or older
    • If you are a commuter student age 19 or older, you are waived from this requirement
  • A completed and signed Tuberculosis Screening Form. This form is to be completed by all incoming students

Residential students will not be able to move into on-campus housing until proof of an up-to-date meningitis ACWY vaccine, given on or after your 16th birthday, is received. 

Immunizations are due by June 15 for a Fall 2026 semester start. Directions for how to submit your immunization records will be forthcoming on or around May 1. You will receive directions via email and they will be listed on your deposited student portal.
