Uzma Parvez, MD
Medical Director, Pain Management, Valley Medical Group
Dr. Parvez joined Valley in 2023 and is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine. She has extensive knowledge and experience in treating neck and low back pain, radiculopathy, facet arthropathy, sacroiliac pain, discogenic pain, and post-laminectomy syndrome. Dr. Parvez is also skilled in the treatment of CRPS/RSD, including lumbar sympathetic blocks and stellate ganglion blocks. She believes in a patient-centered pain management plan that incorporates modalities and treatments, as well as support from the physician, hospital, community, and most importantly, a patient’s family. She received her medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College at the University of the Punjab in Pakistan. She completed a surgical internship at the University Hospital of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She also completed a pain management fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, and conversant in Arabic.

Philip Lin, MD
Dr. Lin is a board-certified pain medicine specialist who has clinical interests in interventions, procedures, and neuromodulation – a technique that uses electrical and chemical stimulation to alter the activity of the nervous system. Dr. Lin’s philosophy of medicine focuses on logic, evidence, and staying up to date on evolving technologies. He strives to provide patients with the most efficient and effective care, tailoring to each patient’s desires. Dr. Lin received his medical degree from Rutgers University Medical School in New Jersey. He completed a residency in anesthesiology from Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York and a fellowship in chronic pain medicine from Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina.

Jayme Sack, MD
Dr. Sack is a board-certified pain medicine specialist who specializes in the comprehensive management of chronic pain using a multidisciplinary approach, including interventional procedures, analgesic medication optimization, physical therapy, and overall behavioral support. She is committed to treating each patient with compassion, respect, and persistence until a successful, personalized treatment plan is found. Dr. Sack aims to focus on identifying the underlying causes of patients' pain, restoring function, and improving quality of life. Dr. Sack received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. She completed a residency in anesthesiology from Columbia University – New York Presbyterian in New York and a fellowship in pain management from New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York.

Stacey Shetty, APN
Stacey is a board-certified advanced practice nurse who has been at Valley for over 25 years. She helps patients with chronic pain, cancer-related pain, and back pain. Her goal is to develop a mutually trusting relationship with her patients and understand how pain impacts their life. Together, they can then formulate a safe and effective plan that will manage their pain. Stacey received her degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Lyle Stark, PA
Mr. Stark specializes in all areas of pain management, including neck, back, and joint pain; sciatica neuropathy; muscle and tendon injuries. He has more than 16 years of experience in pain management and practices evidence-based medicine. Lyle believes in compassionate care and treats all patients with respect, rendering high-quality care for better outcomes. He received his degree from Cornell University Medical College with honors and has also practiced in emergency medicine, cardiac surgery, and critical care.
