Valley Health System congratulates seven of its ColigoCare providers for receiving the UnitedHealthcare Hero Award from UnitedHealthcare, a healthcare and insurance company dedicated to helping people live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone.

Each year, the United Hero program recognizes healthcare professionals throughout the UnitedHealthcare network for delivering highly rated patient experiences. The UnitedHealthcare Hero Award is given to any physician or advanced practice provider that meets patient experience threshold targets, including getting needed care, care coordination, and doctor-patient conversation. Heroes are recognized for their performance from January to December 2023.
ColigoCare is Valley’s nationally acclaimed Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and clinically integrated network, which was recently ranked the No. 1 ACO in New Jersey for Medicare quality outcomes.
