Bergen magazine has named 238 physicians from The Valley Hospital’s medical staff and affiliated medical staff to its 2026 list of “Bergen County’s Top Doctors.”
According to Bergen magazine, the peer-nominated list represents physicians who are highly regarded by their colleagues, as well as exceptionally accomplished in their medical specialties.
To compile the list, Bergen magazine commissioned Professional Research Services (PRS) of Troy, Michigan, to conduct a peer-review survey of thousands of practicing and active physicians across the county. Doctors were asked to select peers whom they deem are the best within their practice areas and whom they would seek out for particular procedures.
Recognized on the list are 238 members of Valley’s medical staff and affiliated medical staff in 49 specialties, including breast surgery, cancer surgery, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, colon and rectal surgery, dermatology, emergency medicine, family medicine, gynecologic oncology, hematology and oncology, maternal and fetal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, radiation oncology, several pediatric specialty care areas, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, sleep medicine, sports medicine, and vascular surgery.
