Valley Health System is pleased to announce that Robert Brenner, MD, MMM, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer for Valley Health System, and Naser Gharaibeh, MD, Medical Director of Metabolic Medicine and Weight Loss Program for Valley Health System, have been named to the 2026 NJBIZ Health Care Power List.
Dr. Brenner was recognized for his continued leadership of Valley through milestone events, including the repurposing of its Valley Health System – Ridgewood Campus, a thriving outpatient healthcare destination located at 223 North Van Dien Aveneue in Ridgewood, New Jersey, the former site of The Valley Hospital; and the opening of the new Valley Health System – Montvale Campus, an outpatient healthcare destination located at 400 Market Street in Montvale, New Jersey, at The Shoppes at DePiero Farm.
“I am honored to be recognized by NJBIZ on their Health Care Power List,” said Dr. Brenner. “For the past 75 years, Valley has continued to expand in northern New Jersey and southern New York, while always providing the high-quality, compassionate care that we are known for. We look forward to continuing to do so in the years to come.”
Dr. Gharaibeh was recognized for his leadership of Valley LifeStart: The Center for Weight and Wellness™, a program for weight management that focuses on total health, offering both surgical and nonsurgical approaches. He has partnered with various departments in Valley Health System to raise awareness of the program and bring these services to the community. Dr. Gharaibeh has also worked closely with Valley’s clinicians and encouraged them to become board certified for obesity medicine.
“I am proud to receive this recognition from NJBIZ,” said Dr. Gharaibeh. “This recognition highlights the growing importance of metabolic health and the need for comprehensive, patient-centered approaches to weight management. I’m grateful to work alongside an incredible team that is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier lives through innovative care and long-term support.”
According to NJBIZ, The Power Lists are compiled by the NJBIZ editorial staff based on reporting throughout the past year, with input from experts in a variety of fields and recommendations from readers. The staff looks for people who have gained public attention – and perhaps acclaim – for their professional accomplishments and public service. Each list identifies individuals who, through their efforts, are helping to make New Jersey a better place to live, work, and do business. Honorees are not necessarily better at their jobs than others in their profession, but they have contributed meaningfully to the advancement of the public interest through their work or community service.
