Valley Hospice Presents Live Theatrical Performance About End-of-Life Choices

October 9, 2025

Valley Hospice is excited to present a powerful, theatrical performance designed to explain end-of-life decision-making and patient advocacy through a fictional enactment of real-life scenarios.

The live performance, titled “The Final Act: A Conversation on End-of-Life Choices,” will take place on Sunday, November 9, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at West Side Presbyterian Church, located at 6 South Monroe Street, in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Individuals, families, and healthcare clinicians are invited into the open space to consider the importance of making informed, personal choices about care at the end of life for loved ones and themselves.

“End-of-life is a topic that touches all of our lives, but often is not discussed,” said Maribeth Kearney, Director of Valley Hospice. “This performance will help attendees feel more comfortable with having these difficult conversations, while educating them about the steps to take and resources available to them.”
