Valley Home Care Recognized as a High-Performing Home Health Agency by U.S. News & World Report

March 2, 2026

Valley Home Care is pleased to have been recognized for high-performing home healthcare by U.S. News & World Report on the first-ever ratings for Best Home Health. Valley Home Care was 1 of only 8 New Jersey home health agencies to have earned a “high-performing” distinction out of the 43 agencies available in the state.

U.S. News & World Report defines home healthcare as care that licensed medical professionals provide in a patient's own home to treat an injury or illness, support recovery from surgery, or manage a chronic condition.

The ratings for Best Home Health were based on a rigorous, unbiased analysis of data published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, according to U.S. News. U.S. News noted the rankings focus on two scores: quality of care scores, which measure how well the agency helps patients to achieve better health outcomes and avoid hospitalization, and patient experience scores, which are based on a national survey of patients and their family members that asks about overall satisfaction with the care they received.

“We are honored to be recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a high-performing home health agency in New Jersey,” said Toni Modak, Vice President of Valley Home Care and Hospice. “For nearly four decades, Valley Home Care has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
