Valley Home Care, part of Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, has been ranked the top home care agency in New Jersey on Newsweek’s list of “America’s Best Home Health Agencies 2027.” This distinction, presented in collaboration with research firm Statista, was announced on October 21, and can be viewed on Newsweek’s website.
The list recognizes the top home health agencies by state. Rankings are based on four data pillars:
• Quality metrics data for home health agencies published by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
• National online survey collecting recommendations from healthcare professionals and managers/administrators working in home health agencies, used to calculate recommendation scores.
• Results from patient experience surveys, sourced from Home Health Care CAHPS (HHCAHPS) published by CMS.
• Accreditation data on home health agencies provided by The Joint Commission, Accreditation Commission for Health Care, and Community Health Accreditation Partner.
