Valley Health System is pleased to announce that Christopher Tascione, CPA, Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Valley Health System, has been named to the 2026 NJBIZ Finance Power List.
Tascione joined Valley Health System in April of this year. In his role, he oversees all aspects of the System’s finances, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, revenue cycle, internal audit, and accounts payable. He also serves as the System’s Chief Financial Advisor to the Executive Staff and Valley Health System’s Board of Trustees, providing guidance on financial strategy and operations.

Tascione earned a master’s degree in business administration from Rowan University in New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). Tascione is also actively engaged in community and professional organizations, serving on boards and councils that advance healthcare and community well-being.
