Valley Health System congratulates Robert Brenner, MD, MMM, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer of Valley Health System, and Karteek Bhavsar, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Valley Health System, for being named as BINJE’s Best Top Health Care Leaders 2026 honorees.
BINJE (Business in New Jersey Every Day) is a statewide print and digital business publication. The publication’s Top Health Care Leaders list recognizes an elite group of the state’s premier healthcare leaders; each nominee selected by the publication.
Among the list of honorees, Dr. Brenner was recognized as one of the Top 12 Health Care CEOs. He was selected for “managing unprecedented demand while keeping Valley’s reputation for highly personal, patient-first care intact,” according to the publication.
“I am honored to be named among an exceptional group of healthcare leaders from across the state. I am particularly proud to share this honor alongside Karteek, Valley’s Chief Operating Officer, whose inclusion among the state's Top Health Care Leaders underscores the strength of our leadership and our unwavering commitment to providing high-quality patient care,” said Dr. Brenner.
Bhavsar was named to the Hospital Leaders and Executives list. He was selected for his system-wide efforts of margin enhancement and his continued focus to position Valley as a high reliability organization that commits to safety above all.
“I am thankful for this honor and proud to be recognized alongside so many outstanding healthcare leaders,” said Bhavsar. “As we celebrate our milestone year of 75 years of care at The Valley Hospital, we look forward to continuing to innovate, expand access to care, and meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve for generations to come.”
Under the leadership of both Dr. Brenner and Bhavsar, The Valley Hospital has once again been ranked among the best hospitals in New Jersey by U.S. News & World Report for 2026-27, placing The Valley Hospital among the top 10 on the list of 93 New Jersey hospitals that were evaluated.
