Pediatrics

As part of its Family Wellness Care Center, Valley offers a full range of inpatient pediatric services including a specially designed pediatric emergency room. Valley has an exceptional staff of board certified and board-eligible pediatricians, many with additional specialized training in specific diseases affecting children and adolescents. In addition, pediatric subspecialists from Babies and Children's Hospital at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and New York-Cornell, both campuses of New York Presbyterian Hospital, provide world-class care for Valley's young patients here at home.

Whether caring for hospitalized children, those treated on an outpatient basis or the special-needs youngsters at the Kireker Center for Child Development and Wellness, Valley physicians have an interactive approach to care that makes a wide range of clinical expertise available to young patients through referral and ongoing consultation.

The Valley Hospital offers a wide array of women's and children's services, including The Center for Childbirth, The Fertility Center, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, The Center for Family Education, Pediatrics, and The Kireker Center for Child Development. Maternal and Child Health services are provided in the home by Valley Home Care.
