In addition to educational health programs, The Valley Hospital hosts educational events for community enrichment. Most scientific evidence points to the fact that global warming, pollution and future water shortages are real problems that confront humanity. On Wednesday, February 12 from 10 - 11 a.m., at the hospital’s Kraft Center in Paramus, The Valley Hospital will engage in the conversation surrounding these pressing environmental issues by hosting a discussion of “The Big Green Book,” with author Tom Riley. Riley will discuss the innovative solutions people are coming up with to address these problems. He will help educate participants about how to make the right environmental choices to ensure that our children have a healthy, vibrant, ecologically diverse, and sustainable planet in which to live.
Tom Riley is a prolific author and lecturer. He has written numerous books and articles. Tom lives in New City, NY with his wife of 41 years.
