October 29, 2013 – Physicians and staff from The Valley Hospital recently joined Audrey Meyers, President and CEO of The Valley Hospital and Valley Health System, in celebrating the hospital’s recognition by Healthgrades as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery.
This is the third consecutive year that Valley’s cardiac surgery program has been recognized with this distinction.
These recognitions were announced in the report American Hospital Quality Outcomes 2014: Healthgrades Report to the Nation. Healthgrades evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 31 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions and identified the 100 best hospitals within each procedure.
“I am very proud that Valley has received these distinguished recognitions,” said Audrey Meyers, President and CEO of The Valley Hospital and Valley Health System. “We understand that patients today have options when it comes to choosing a healthcare provider and it is our goal to be the hospital of choice for the communities we serve. These outstanding recognitions are testament to the priority Valley staff and physicians place on achieving the highest-quality clinical outcomes, while delivering the most compassionate care.”
