A Tour of Kitchens
The Valley Hospital Auxiliary invites you to the 16th Biennial Kitchen Tour on Wednesday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will see nine beautiful, innovative kitchens that range from very traditional to ultra modern. The kitchens are created by award-winning designers and are located in Allendale, Franklin Lakes, Ho-Ho-Kus, Ridgewood, and Wyckoff.
     A $1,000 Neiman Marcus shopping spree and other fabulous prizes will be raffled the day of the tour. Raffle tickets can be purchased from any Auxiliary branch chair prior to the tour, and they will also be available the day of the tour ($5 each or 3 for $10).

41st Annual Golf Outing
 Plans for the 41st Annual Valley Hospital Golf Outing are underway! This eagerly anticipated event will again be held at the prestigious Ridgewood Country Club, site of the 2010 PGA Barclays PGA Playoffs. The date is Monday, June 3. Maria Mediago and Ron Krych of Valley Hospital will be co-chairing this year's Golf Outing. We are actively seeking corporate sponsors and golfers as well as donations for the silent auction. The Auxiliary is proud to support their pledge to raise $1.5 million to expand The Valley Hospital Breast Surgery Program at the Luckow Pavilion, which will include a dedicated mammography suite and ultrasound suite. More capacity to serve women in our community will be possible with state-of-the-art equipment staffed by highly trained and expert professionals. The income earned from the endowment for Valley Home Care's Butterflies Program, which serves very ill children in our community, will make it possible for the palliative care and hospice program for children to continue for many years to come. It is a gift that keeps on giving.
Valley Ball 2012
For years, the Valley Ball has been the highlight of the holiday season, and, this year, the Ridgewood Branch exceeded all previous expectations. The elegant affair took place at The Venetian in Garfield on Friday, December 14. More than 340 guests, dressed in their finest formalwear, enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dancing, and, of course, the famous Viennese dessert display. But the truly best news is that the evening raised more than $100,000 towards our $1.5 million pledge to The Valley Hospital! Congratulations and thank you to all who attended and supported the Valley Ball.

The 2013 Valley Hospital Journal
The Valley Hospital Auxiliary is now putting together the 2013 Valley Hospital Journal. The Journal is one of our Valley Days fund-raisers, worked on collectively by our 16 branches in the towns surrounding The Valley Hospital campus. Our Journal has been published each year for more than 25 years, and is distributed at all of our major fund-raising events, at our annual luncheon in June, in the visiting areas of The Valley Hospital, at Kurth Café and Gift Shop, and given to every new trustee and volunteer.
