Atrial fibrillation (AFib) affects more than 3 million Americans and is associated with increased risks for stroke, heart failure, and death. Black adults with AFib are two times more likely to have a stroke than white adults with AFib. But Black adults with AFib are less likely to get appropriate care and management. The good news is that you can take steps to advocate for yourself and get the treatment you need. Learn about AFib and the latest treatment options available here at Valley.
