The Center for Family Education Classes
The Center for Family Education at The Valley Hospital is here to prepare you for the many stages of life - prenatal, postnatal, and beyond! Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make healthcare decisions that are best for you and your family.
We offer a variety of classes for new moms, dads, siblings and grandparents. Our expert educators have spent years teaching, and they want to help you make the most of your experience at Valley. We also offer regular tours of The Center for Childbirth on week nights and one weekend a month.
We invite you to view all of our classes and hope to see you at one soon!
Please Note: There are no full refunds for any classes. (Please see below for specifics regarding yoga/Pilates Classes.) A partial refund will only be given if: mom delivers early or mom is on bedrest and has a doctor’s note. A processing fee of 10% will be subtracted from your refund. If you have registered for a Childbirth Series and already attended one or more of those classes, the refund will be pro-rated. (This does not include yoga/Pilates classes).
Yoga/Pilates classes: If you deliver early, classes can be used post-natally, so therefore no refunds will be given. Please be aware of this when choosing the number of classes you are registering for.
The Center for Family Education offers classes that are informative, helpful, and most of all, convenient. Classes are held at the Kraft Center in Paramus. Please take a few minutes to view our class offering to find a class that fits your schedule.
Tours of The Center for Childbirth are offered every Wednesday at 7 and 8 p.m., and one Saturday a month at 9 and 10 a.m. Please register for a tour as space is limited.
