The Valley Hospital Laboratory is a full-service laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The Valley Hospital Outpatient Laboratory is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Most patients are seen on a walk-in basis. Please call the lab to schedule specialized testing such as glucose tolerance tests. We pride ourselves on short wait times.

The Laboratory completed more than 1.75 million tests in 2005, making us one of the most accomplished Labs in the state. With a staff of more than 170 professionals, including five pathologists, the Laboratory is open around the clock every day of the year. Valley has more than 50 years of experience in Laboratory services, making us a trusted, highly experienced provider. Stringent quality control programs are an integral part of all testing. The lab uses the Mayo Clinic for most of its esoteric testing.
