Margaret Robinson, RN, is Director of Fertility and Embryology Services at The Valley Hospital Fertility Center. She has more than 19 years of nursing experience in the field of women's health. Margaret has an extensive background in reproductive medicine. For three years, she was a nurse coordinator for the Ovum Donation Program at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey.
Margaret has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Political Science from American University and an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry.

Our team of nurse coordinators offers you personalized care based on your individual needs. They are available to you to answer questions, schedule appointments and problem-solve everyday concerns that impact your fertility treatment. They work closely with our physicians to ensure your diagnosis and treatment are done in a timely manner, at your convenience and with as little disruption to your life as possible. They have a deep appreciation and understanding of the demands placed on couples who seek infertility treatment and will share their extensive knowledge to provide education, support and encouragement for our patients. They act as liaison between you and other staff in the center such as laboratory and support staff. You will meet with a Nurse Coordinator at your first visit and at each visit thereafter. Our laboratory staff participates with other clinical staff to ensure laboratory testing meets the highest patient care standards as well as the regulatory standards of the College of American Pathologists, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA), the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the New Jersey Department of Health, and the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Kim Altman Weiss, Ph.D., provides psychological services at The Valley Hospital Fertility Center. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who has completed fellowship training in infertility counseling and reproductive issues. She has been a consultant for fertility specialists since 2000.
The following psychological services are offered: individual psychotherapy, stress management (mind-body) training, couples therapy, group therapy, and consultations regarding donor sperm, donor egg, donor embryo and surrogacy.

The Valley Hospital Fertility Center participates with a number of insurance plans, and offers financial counseling for couples whose insurance does not cover fertility treatment. Our experienced financial counselors will guide you through the process of paying for treatment. They are available to meet with you before treatment begins and at any point during your care.
Our financial counselors are available to review your individual insurance benefits and guide you each step of the way through the often tedious financial demands of treatment. They share information regarding supplemental programs that may assist those patients without treatment coverage. From your first visit through diagnosis and treatment, our financial counselors continue to provide updated information about your individual financial responsibilities.

Our friendly and caring support staff will greet you at each visit. They work to ensure that every visit with us is timely and efficient. Appointments for procedures and testing outside of the center are conveniently managed for you.
