Ali Nasseri, M.D., Ph.D., Medical Director

Dr. Nasseri is the Medical Director of The Valley Hospital Fertility Center. He and his physician colleagues work as a team to provide unique treatment and care based on each patient’s singular needs.
Dr. Nasseri is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta and the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He performed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York City, and his fellowship was performed in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Nasseri is Board Certified from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, holding Diplomate status in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He was formerly an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University School of Medicine and has authored numerous articles and book chapters in reproductive endocrinology.
He is also the recipient of the Wyeth-Ayerst Reproductive Endocrine Fellow Award, a Serono Laboratories grant for scientific research, and the Parke-Davis Research Award to Advance the Management of Women’s Healthcare.

Dehan Chen, M.D., Associate Clinical Director

Dehan Chen, M.D., graduated from Harvard University receiving the Harvard College Scholar Award in 1989 and an A.B. degree in 1991. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Chen completed his OB/GYN internship and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
In 1999 he went on to a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Medical College in New York City completing his fellowship in June 2002. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology.

Sheeva Talebian, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., Staff Physician

Sheeva Talebian, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is on staff at The Valley Hospital Fertility Center. Dr. Talebian completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1997. She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 2001. Dr. Talebian completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident from 2004 to 2005. She went on to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the New York University School of Medicine in 2008.
Dr. Talebian is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Endocrine Society.
Dr. Talebian is the recipient of several accolades, including the Medical Student Outstanding Teaching Resident Award, the AAGL Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgery Award, and the Medical Student Outstanding Fellow Teaching Award in 2003, 2005 and 2006 respectively. She was also awarded the prize presentation at the 30th Annual NY Perinatal Society Scientific Meeting for her research on preimplantation genetic diagnosis at the NYU Fertility Center.
Aside from participating in several research grants, abstracts, presentations and lectures, Dr. Talebian has volunteered her time to author a teenage reproductive health web site (www.mybodyandme.org). Outside of work, she is an avid runner, and enjoys spending time with her husband, 3-year-old daughter, and friends.
