Get to Know Me

What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I see patients with a variety of EP-related concerns in all departments from the Emergency Department to inpatient units. I see patients with conditions such as arrhythmias, ventricular tachyarrhythmias, syncope, and atrioventricular blocks. I also evaluate cardiac implantable devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders.

Describe some of your professional highlights.

A board-certified nurse practitioner, I came to Valley from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where I was an Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Nurse Practitioner and was the recipient of the 2021 Nursing Excellence, APN of the year award. Prior to this, I was an ICU Nurse at The Valley Hospital. I am a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, with a bachelor's and master's degree from Rutgers University. I am presently in school pursuing my DNP. I also served in the US Army Reserve, both enlisted and as a commissioned officer.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I believe in an evidenced-based, holistic approach to patient care. My goal is to be the patient's advocate while working collaboratively with the team to provide the patient with a plan of care tailored specifically to their needs. I am interested in instructing patients about their condition, how to manage it, and about any devices or procedures they may need. I create trusting relationships with my patients that are built on mutual respect.
