What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I specialize in preventing and treating cardiovascular conditions, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias and other heart-related issues. I work closely with my collaborating physicians to deliver the best care for our patients. My goal is to improve patients’ overall health by working together to develop a treatment plan tailored to each patient.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

My approach to care involves developing a relationship with my patients and their support system to allow for open communication and trust. As a clinician, I believe in including my patients in the decision-making process to improve their heart health through lifestyle changes and medical management.

What inspired you to become a nurse practitioner?

I have always had a passion for helping others. Starting my undergraduate education at the University of Scranton, I knew nursing was the career that would allow me to feel fulfilled. After graduating and working in some of the most prestigious health systems in the country, I felt compelled to advance my degree and become a Nurse Practitioner. Being a Nurse Practitioner allows me to, not only, provide care for my patients but to also treat them. This career allows me to utilize my years of education and experience to care for patients who have complex cardiac conditions.
