The Nursing Residency Program is a structured educational program designed to prepare the new nurse graduate in acquiring the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to care for patients in their assigned clinical area. This program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach with the use of clinical educators, experienced preceptors, mentors, and Advance Practice Nurses to provide a broad knowledge and clinical base to prepare the graduate nurses in their first professional role as nurses.
