Opioid overdoses are becoming increasingly common, not only in Bergen County but also throughout the country. This rise in numbers makes it critical to raise awareness about opioids, opioid overdoses and the use of Naloxone in the emergency treatment of opioid overdoses.

The video below (created in partnership with the Mahwah Municipal Alliance) provides information on recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose, as well as the purpose for and proper use of Naloxone.
