Get to Know Me
What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Some of the specific conditions that I treat include arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat including atrial fibrillation), tachyarrhythmias (fast heartbeat), bradyarrhythmias (slow heartbeat), syncope, cardiomyopathies, cardiac implantable electronic device implantation, heart failure, and palpitations.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Some of the techniques and procedures that I use in my practice include cardiac ablations, defibrillator (ICD) implantations, pacemaker implantations, loop recorder implantations, left atrial appendage closure device insertion (Watchman or Amulet) as well as MRIs for patients with pacemakers and defibrillators.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I treat my patients as I would want my family members to be treated. I approach my patients with patience and empathy. I spend time listening to them, understanding their disease, helping them understand their condition, and discussing treatment options in great detail. We use a team approach in our practice, and I make sure that patients and their families understand that they are all part of the team.
