Abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, GERD, vomiting, milk protein allergy, failure to thrive/poor weight gain, inflammatory bowel disease (crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), celiac disease, jaundice, liver disease.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, polypectomy, lactose breath test, liver biopsy.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I feel that pediatrics is a family centered specialty and that it is important to involve the parents and child in treating and managing their particular disorder. I order bloodwork and endoscopy only when needed. My office staff and I work with the parents and child to minimize any discomfort and attempt to alleviate any associated anxiety or fear.
