What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Premature newborns, maternal problems during pregnancy that affect the fetus, genetic issues/congenital abnormalities, early childhood development, neonatal surgical problems.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
Parents of my patients are always involved in the decision-making process for their child's treatment plan. They are updated regularly by myself and staff, and coordinated follow-up after discharge is arranged.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
The challenge of acute and chronic care in fragile premature babies.
