Get to Know Me

What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I am board certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and maintain a vascular interpretation certification. I see a wide range of cardiac conditions within my practice that includes coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, valvular heart disease (aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, etc), heart failure, palpitations/arrhythmia, and preventative cardiology.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

My subspecialty is interventional cardiology where I perform procedures at Valley hospital most days of the week. These procedures include right heart catheterization, left heart catheterization, coronary angioplasty/percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), complex PCI using atherectomy (Shockwave, CSI, Rotapro, laser), intracoronary imaging and physiology, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), percutaneous balloon aortic valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, and left ventricular mechanical support (Impella).

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I strive for a team based holistic care of the patient. I also believe in the importance of my patients fully understanding their condition and treatment plan and will always make time to ensure that goal.
