Clinical Trials
“A multicenter, open-label (Part A) followed by a randomized, double-blind, parallel-group, placebo-controlled study (Part B) to evaluate maintenance of remission in subjects with active axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) receiving either Certolizumab pegol 200mg Q2W or 200mg Q4W as compared to placebo.”
This study is focused on treating patients with ankylosing spondylitis. We are looking for patients that are 45 or younger who have ankylosing spondylitis. All patients get treated with Cimzia for one year. Cimzia is already approved to treat the condition. If patients are doing well on the medication, (in remission), the medication will be withdrawn to see if they will stay in remission off of it. Patients will be monitored closely throughout the study.
