What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
My approach to patient care is underscored by empathy and compassion. This is complemented by my drive to provide the most up-to-date evidence based therapies and treatments to all patients. I strive to ensure that both the patients and their families feel empowered with the knowledge necessary to make the most informed decisions regarding care.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
After professional experiences including international education and corporate finance management, I pursued a career change and earned my Physician Assistant degree. Upon completion of my PA studies, I was awarded both the Sophie Davis School Clinical Excellence Award and the Scientific Research & Writing Award for my research in primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases. I joined New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center upon graduation. My tenure at NYP/Columbia included invaluable experience within cardiology and heart failure in addition to training within the Cardiothoracic and Neurologic Intensive Care Units.
