Get to Know Me
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
I am a general ophthalmologist that provides all types of routine eye care, with an additional subspecialty in Laser Vision Correction (including LASIK and PRK) for nearsightedness, some types of farsightedness, and astigmatism.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
It is my goal for each of my patients to get an excellent quality of eye care, and for each one to feel as if they have my undivided attention and complete focus while they are in my exam room. I want them to know that I am there to serve and help them, and that I receive great joy from helping people see and feel better. I want them to leave knowing that I care very deeply for their good health, well being, and happiness.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
I was born without legs. Spending time during my childhood under the care of various practitioners, and being encouraged by a loving family, I learned from a very early age that our purpose here on earth is to help those who are less fortunate than others. I learned that my disability is really quite insignificant to the problems that so many others have, and that with fortitude, persistence, and faith, anything and everything is possible. I hope to inspire others to live their lives the same way.
