Get to Know Me
What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
I treat the spectrum of internal medicine conditions, but have a special interest in diabetes, hypertension and hypercholesterolemia.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
I was the medical director of the Waldwick Primary/Urgent Care office for 16 years. Since then, I’ve moved to the Ramsey office to assume the added responsibilities of becoming the chair of primary care services at VMG.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I have found that simple measures can improve one's health. A proper diet (Mediterranean style) in association with maintaining a healthy weight and completing regular exercise is vital. Preventive screening is also essential so that early problems (pre-diabetes and pre-hypertension) can be addressed and progression to full blown disease may be avoided.
