What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
COPD, asthma, cough, bronchitis, pneumonia, sarcoidosis, occupational lung disease, lung cancer, pleural effusion, pulmonary embolism, tobacco dependence, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema, pneumothorax, sepsis.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, pulmonary function testing, spirometry, pulmonary rehabilitation, chest x-ray, CT scan, thoracic ultrasound, non invasive ventilation, mechanical ventilation, central line placement.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
I have published several articles, including “Mounier Kuhn Syndrome: A Case Report” in the journal Lung, “Granular Cell Tumor of the Trachea: A Case Report and Review of the Literature” in the journal Clinical Pulmonary Medicine, “Spontaneous Splenic Rupture in Infectious Mononucleosis” in the journal Hospital Physician, and "An Unexpected Cause of Hemoptysis" in the Journal of the American Thoracic Society. I also co-authored the chapter on Pulmonary Rehabilitation in the textbook, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review, Second Edition. I became board certified in internal medicine in 2007, pulmonary medicine in 2010 and critical care medicine in 2012. I am a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey and the Bergen County Medical Society. I am also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
