Get to Know Me

What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

As a Urogynecologist, I specifically focus on pelvic floor disorders in women such as pelvic organ prolapse ("dropped bladder"), urinary incontinence ("leakage of urine"), overactive bladder, frequent urination, urgency among other conditions.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

There is a broad range of treatment options for pelvic floor conditions including non-surgical approaches, such as pessaries and physical therapy, as well as minimally invasive surgical procedure, such as robotic / laparoscopic and vaginal reconstruction. Some of the advanced in-office procedures that we offer include botox bladder injections, urethral bulking injections and peripheral tibial nerve stimulation.

Describe some of your professional highlights.

I am a fellowship-trained and double board-certified urogynecologist. I've held several academic appointments, including Assistant Professor for the University of Miami OB/GYN Department, and more recently, full-time Faculty Associate for the Atlantic Health Urogynecology Fellowship Program. I have published multiple research studies and authored several book chapters in the field of Urogynecology. I was elected Junior Fellow Chair for the Florida section of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists in 2009.
