The Valley Hospital is now open at 4 Valley Health Plaza in Paramus. (You may need to use 650 Winters Avenue for GPS.) All emergency care is now being provided at this location. Emergency care is no longer available at our Ridgewood campus.

Adult volunteers at Valley Health System serve in a variety of capacities, from greeting and directing visitors, to providing office support, assisting patients and staff, and playing instruments to calm patients and family members. We even welcome four-legged friends (and their owners) to serve as therapy dogs!
Adults may volunteer at The Valley Hospital, Valley Home Care and various outpatient locations. Whatever your skills, interests or availability, our volunteer staff will find the assignment that’s right for you.
Once your volunteer application and references are received, your application is reviewed. When a position matching your availability, interest, and skill set becomes available, you'll be contacted regarding next steps. Should we not have anything immediately available for you, we'll continue to keep your application on file for consideration as new positions become available.
Assignments are based on individual interests, skills, and the needs of Valley Health System. Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend positions are available.
