Does the Speech-Language Pathology Department offer services for children?
Speech-Language Pathology services are offered for children separately through the Kireker Center For Child Development.

In order to ensure that these services are covered, we strongly encourage you to contact your insurance company to find out if your benefit plan requires pre-authorization. Although Valley’s managed care contracts typically do not require us to secure the authorization on your behalf, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining prior authorization by faxing any medical information to your insurance company.
What are your hours?
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening appointments are available upon request.
Where do you offer inpatient and outpatient services?
Inpatient services are provided at The Valley Hospital at 223 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ.
Outpatient services are provided at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at 505 Goffle Road, Ridgewood, NJ.

What is our sick policy?
If you are ill the day before your appointment, please call us at your earliest opportunity to reschedule or cancel. For the welfare of other patients in the department and our staff, you should not attend your therapy session if you have been ill during the night, are vomiting, have diarrhea, are coughing repeatedly or have any contagious illnesses.
