The Patient and Family Relations Department consists of Registered Nurse Patient Representatives who are available to assist patients and families with navigating their care at Valley Hospital. They can be helpful with:
- Interpreter Services
- Americans With Disabilities Act Information
- Limited English Proficient Patient Information
- End of Life Issues/Advance Directive Assistance
- Patient/ Family Issues involving Conflict Resolution
- Notary Services
- Complaint Management
Department volunteers visit patients at the bedside daily.
The Mission of the Patient and Family Relations Department is "To Meet The Unmet Needs for Patients and Families." Patient and Family Relations is located on the first floor in the Phillips Wing. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
