The Valley Hospital Center for Women, Children and Family Education is offering a program entitled Breastfeeding Basics. This informative course explores the advantages and benefits of breastfeeding. There will also be discussions regarding techniques that work, positions that are comfortable, common problems, pumping and storage of breast milk and the correct use of the breast pumping equipment. In addition, Medela® breastfeeding products will be available for rental or purchase.
This class should be taken during the eighth month of pregnancy.
The course will be held from 7-10 p.m. on December 2, 10, and 17 at the Dorothy B. Kraft Center, 15 Essex Road, Paramus. The fee is $50.
