You’ve Got Some Nerve Set for December 1

The Valley Hospital Community Health Department is offering a free education program titled “You’ve Got Some Nerve.”  Stomach pain, dry mouth, heart palpitations, sweaty palms and a generalized feeling of doom and gloom are all symptoms of anxiety.  This syndrome, sometimes known as “the nerves” is a common disorder among older adults and can have a serious impact on one’s quality of life.

Join Patty Masterson-Kane, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., Elder Care Options, LLC, and Patty Hemphill, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., The Valley Hospital.  Find out more about this disorder, and the various effective treatments that can calm your nerves.

This free 1 ½ hour program will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at 10:00a.m. at The Dorothy B. Kraft Center, 15 Essex Road, Paramus.  Space is limited.  To register or for more information, please call 1-877-283-2276 or www.valleyhealth.com/events.
