The Valley Hospital, The Mayors Wellness Campaign, The Paramus Board of Health and Gold’s Gym of Paramus invite Paramus residents to take part in the 5th Annual Paramus Weight-Loss Challenge.
The annual 12-week health and wellness program returns after a record-breaking year where participants dropped a combined 935 pounds. Kicking off on March 7, this year promises to be better than ever as participants are challenged to work together to lose another 700 pounds.
The Weight-Loss Challenge is free and open to all Paramus residents and employees. There will be events, prizes and incentives to keep everyone motivated, including a free 1-month membership to Gold’s Gym of Paramus. Participants who complete the 12-week Challenge learn healthy lifestyle habits while losing weight in a fun and supportive environment.
The Weight-Loss Challenge includes:
· Free health and fitness classes
· Bi-weekly group meetings
· Free 1-month membership to Gold’s Gym of Paramus
· Free pre- and post-cholesterol and blood sugar screenings for the first 75 people who register
· Access to our NEW challenge website
· Events, prizes and incentives throughout
· Weekly weigh-ins*
*Participants must weigh in at least every other week in order to qualify for prizes.
