March 12, 2014 -- Valley Medical Group welcomes Assia Bromberg, M.D., who specializes in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and internal medicine. Dr. Bromberg sees patients at 19-20 Fair Lawn Avenue in Fair Lawn. She has been on the medical staff of The Valley Hospital since 1992.
Dr. Bromberg’s practice is one of a number of primary care and specialty care physician practices acquired by Valley Health System within the past two years to ensure that patients residing in communities served by Valley have access to quality medical care now and in the future. Valley Medical Group (VMG) brings together Valley Health System-employed physicians based at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, the Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion in Paramus, other outpatient facilities, seven primary and urgent care centers, and medical practices throughout the community.
Dr. Bromberg received her medical degree from Kishinev Medical School in the former U.S.S.R. She completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at the Chain Sheba Medical Center/Sackler Medical School in Tel Aviv, Israel. She continued her medical training in the United States with a residency in internal medicine at Englewood Hospital, where she was elected chief resident in her final year. She completed her fellowship in pulmonary medicine/critical care at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Bromberg is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care.
